Day 35: Cultivate
As we round out the week of “Cultivate,” I’ll come full circle back to 40’s central premise: This is NOT a self-improvement plan. Making space for and nurturing your own “gradually growing wholeness” is a practice. It’s the practice of a life time. It starts on the inside and invites us each to BE more of who we really are — this unique, special, once-in-a-universe individual Self.
As always, on Saturdays, the invitation is to take your practice into the Real Life wild of your everyday.
Let writer May Sarton’s words be a backdrop to your day:
“Now I become myself. It's taken
Time, many years and places;
I have been dissolved and shaken,
Worn other people's faces…”
Just simply notice as you move through this day all of the ways you’ve becoming more of yourself.
I see you,
Cath
Meditation: Last day, for now, of the The Loving-Kindness Meditation. Do your best. Let it be enough.
Reflection: Start with this prompt, on paper or in your Real Life Wild: Now I become myself…
