As we near the half-way mark (!) I want to keep us flowing and moving today.
Three simple steps to practice today.
Continue with more breath / Jedi mind trick work today in the 15-minute meditation below.
Don’t have time for a full 15-minute meditation today? No problem. Remember, this practice can fit into your life in a way that supports you, not creates more stress. Try this instead today: Write down one of my favorite reminders to breathe from Mary Oliver’s poem “Have You Ever Tried to Enter the Black Branches?” —
“Listen, are you breathing just a little, and calling it a life?”
Write it on a sticky note and hang it on your laptop or bathroom mirror, or jot it into your planner, or make it a reminder in your calendar today. Wherever and however you’re most likely to see it. Anytime you do: Take a deep breath in, take a deep breath out. Let that in-the-moment practice be exactly enough today.
